Fluid Handling System

Dr. Ben’s patented solar hot water tank concept is called the Fluid Handling System (FHS). The FHS includes an insulated steel storage tank with all pumps, heat exchangers, and controls integrated into one complete, factory-built package. The unique non-pressurized drain-back system pioneered by Gravely Research Corporation over three decades ago is STILL PROVING ITSELF TODAYin thousands of solar hot water systems across the country. The tanks are insulated with 2 inches of urethane foam and covered with a galvanized metal jacket. Standard options, with all controls, are available for collector pumping, domestic hot water, pool & spa heating, and space heating for forced air, radiant slab, and radiant baseboard applications.
